About Meyda Lighting
America’s oldest manufacturer of Tiffany decorative lighting and lamps originated over thirty years ago with simple and somewhat unusual beginnings. Meyer Cohen founded the now top selling manufacturing business when his wife, Ida, asked him to make a stained glass window for their kitchen so they wouldn’t have to see the clutter of the neighbor’s yard. This newfound hobby developed into a successful business and was lovingly named by combining Meyer and his wife Ida’s names to create Meyda Tiffany.
Meyda product are exquisitely crafted and yet surprisingly affordable. They have been able to bring this beautiful craft to a broader range of consumers by attaining Quality Bend Glass Company, famous for the Coca-Cola stained glass chandeliers, and Mecco Art, a metal art studio, along with other providers overseas to provide the highest quality at the most competitive prices in order for the general population to bring these incredible works of art into their homes.
